The ball seemed to be on the ground more than in the hands of the skilled players, as the Commandos finished up the second day in pads of Spring practice.  There is so much work to be done to become a competitive team, but the players are working hard and hopefully will continue to improve with each teaching session from their coaches.  Another area of concern for the program is academics.  Progress reports were issued today and the team needs to buckle down these last 4 weeks of school.  The Commandos finish up the first week of practice with Black and Gold scrimmage on Friday, 12:30pm at Memorial Stadium.
