With heat index temperatures in the low to mid 90's already from 8:00am-9:30am- the Commandos prepare on the track and in the Iron Bunker for the 2010 season and their opener on the road at Tomahawk Satdium against the 4-time state champion Riverdale Warriors.  Conditions are tough and so are the work-outs- it requires a strong heart and mind in order to give everything.  Of course, Riverdale is preparing in the same heat, just like all of the Commando opponents- who will want it more and prepare the best when things are tough?  The entire team needs to step up and train, encourage, and perform to the best of their abilities.  Thursday, June 24th is the last day before the dead period and the coaching staff expects great attendance and everyone to continue to lift, run during the dead period.  GO COMMANDOS!!!!
