The 1997 team has several members in the area and doing well. James Beasley and Mitch Hendley are both part of the current Commando staff (staff has 12 members- 7 of which played football for HHS), Stephen Walker is an assistant football coach with Station Camp, Gary Sanders (a Junior on the 1997 team) is coaching at Portland High School. Jeff Cundiff has a great job and lives in Nashville, David Fowler is helping run his dad's lumber business, Ted Welch (the region's defensive player for '97) lives in Nashville. Clark Hastings lives in Goodlettsville and is a physical therapist, Adam DeRossett lives in Hendersonville and works for the power company, Joe Rewa lives in Portland and Jarden Thornton is re-locating to area. Andrew Trantum is the owner of T-N-T watersports. This was a great team ( had one of the best rush defenses in Commando history) and we are very proud of these young men. There are many more, please drop by the office or give us a call sometime. Our Alumni from all teams are very important to us and we appreciate your support during the season.
