The Freshman COMMANDO team played Lebanon on Thursday, September 3, 2009.  The COMMANDOS took the ball to start the game and scored two plays into the drive.  The first touchdown came on a pass from Kevin Key to Jarrell Adams.  After holding the Blue Devils on their next possession, the COMMANDOS drove down field and scored their second touchdown.  The touchdown was scored on a quarterback sneak by Kevin Key.  The COMMANDOS would add three more touchdowns on the half to take the lead 35 to 0.  Those touchdowns were by Grayson Champlin and Justin Swafford scored twice.  In the second half, Andrew Pate scored a touchdown in the third quarter.  Jake Middleton scored the COMMANDOS final touchdown in the fourth quarter.  With the win, the COMMANDOS even their record at 1-1.  The Freshman COMMANDOS have a big game coming up next week on September 10 when they travel to their arch rival Gallatin.  The game will take place at Green Wave Stadium at 6:30.
