What Does Commando Football Mean To You: Hard work, and determination to be successful.

2nd team All-County performer in 2009.  Was the COMMANDOS starting Quarterback, as well as pivotal player in the defensive backfield.  Will compete for the starting Quarterback position in 2010; also, has chance to be a starter at Free Safety.  Should be a leader on the team for the COMMANDOS in 2010 campaign.

2009-Started 9 of 11 games at Quarterback for the COMMANDOS, and was an important part of the defensive secondary at Free Safety.  Ended the season with 577 passing yards and 7 touchdowns while completing 48 passes on 118 attempts.  Also had 74 rushes for 354 yards with 4 rushing TD's.  Went 7-12 passing for a career high 119 yards versus LaVergne, all of which came in the second half, also had his career long completion of 45 yards to Nigel Jones in the LaVergne game.  Helped lead team to a comeback double overtime victory over Riverdale in the season opener with 9 completions on 18 attempts and 2 TD's (one with less than a minute left in the game, and the other on 4th down in the 1st overtime period).  Threw for 2 TD's twice against Riverdale and in the COMMANDOS playoff loss to Clarksville Northeast.  Also threw for a touchdown against Hunters Lane, Station Camp, and Beech.  Had career high with 157 rushing yards against Mt. Juliet including his career long rush of 50 yards.  Scored rushing touchdowns versus Mt. Juliet, Clarksville Northeast, and 2 against Gallatin.  Ended season with 10 tackles, 1 forced fumble, 4 pass break ups, and 1 interception.  Had a career high 4 tackles against Wilson Central.  Interception came in Station Camp game.  Was a 2nd team All-County selection.

2008-Started one game at Quarterback for the COMMANDOS in 2008.  One start came against Hillwood which the COMMANDOS won 35-13.  Was 1-6 passing for the year with his one completion coming against Hillwood for his long of 11 yards to senior Tight End Chad Pennington.  His lone interception in 2008 came against Dickson County.  Also had 39 rushing yards for the season with a long rush of 15 yards against Hillwood.  Was the COMMANDOS 'Nickel Back' on defense and had 5 tackles and 6 pass break-ups.  Also was back up Free Safety.  Did an excellent job directing the COMMANDO offense in spring practice.

2007-Played well for the Freshman COMMANDOS in 2007 at Quarterback and Free Safety.
